Weekly Bonus Ball Draw
The Social Section stage the Weekly Bonus Ball Draw every Wednesday evening following that nights Lotto draw from which the winning bous ball number is drawn.. The weekly payout will be 50% of takings from the weeks participants which will then be divided between the number of persons who have the winning bonus ball number. To participate in the Bonus Ball Draw obtain a Bonus Ball draw envelope from the bar, choose one number between 1 and 59. Each number costs £2.00. Entires must be submitted in the Bonus Ball Draw post box by the back door of the club by 11.30pm Tuesday Evening. See a member of the Social Section for further details.
Draws & Raffles
The Club stages a Grand Draw & Social Evening each Christmas. Tickets are on sale closer to the event. Smaller draws for Litre bottles of spirits, etc are staged at the during the year.
Happy Hours
The Club stage Happy Hours on several occasions during the year when members can purchase drinks for 20p below our normal bar prices which are already some of the cheapest in the town.
Sport
There are facilities for Snooker and Dominoes in the Club Bar where there are also four big screen televisions. There is now a Pool Table & Dartboard upstairs. All major sporting functions, including those which are exclusive to Satellite TV and “Pay Per View” are shown in the Club. There is also a large projection screen TV in the Upstairs Function Room and two screens in the clubs lounge along with a jukebox. The Sports Section also organise at trips each year to horse racing meetings. Details of all forthcoming sporting events are advertised on the Club Notice Board.
